Terms of purchase

These terms apply when you order from Tilti. They're written to be read – if anything is unclear, just ask us.

Last updated 6 October 2026

01Who you're buying from

Tilti is a service by Nordkod Media AB (Swedish org. no. 559591-6759), Jordal 111, 444 92 Jörlanda, Sweden. E-mail: hello@nordkod.io.

02How ordering works

  • You take or upload photos of your pet, choose a style and get a watermarked preview. Previews are free and don't commit you to anything.
  • When you're happy, you choose your products, enter your details and pay. Before you pay, you see the total price including VAT and shipping.
  • The contract is formed when we confirm your order by e-mail. If we can't fulfil an order – for example because an image breaks the rules below – we'll tell you and refund everything you paid.

03Your portrait

Portraits are created with AI image generation, based on your photos and the style you chose. Every portrait is unique and results vary – that's why you always see a preview first. What you order is the portrait in your preview, printed without the watermark.

Colours on a screen and on paper or fabric are never identical. Small differences in colour, brightness and cropping between the preview, the product images and the finished product are normal and don't count as a fault.

Only upload photos you have the right to use. Tilti is made for pet portraits – we may refuse images of people, and anything that is illegal, offensive or infringes someone else's rights.

04Prices and payment

  • All prices include VAT. On the English site prices are shown in euros (EUR), on the Swedish site in Swedish kronor (SEK).
  • Shipping is added at checkout and always shown before you pay. Standard shipping is €6.90 and free on orders over €79; express is €14.90.
  • Payment is handled by Stripe. You pay when you place your order. We never see or store your card details.

05Production and delivery

Every product is made to order and printed by our print partner Gelato, as close to your delivery address as possible. Standard delivery usually takes 4–8 business days and express 2–5 business days. The delivery times shown at checkout are estimates.

From the English site we deliver to the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, the United States, Canada and Australia. The Swedish site delivers within Sweden.

Digital files are sent by e-mail as soon as your payment has gone through.

We print locally wherever we can. If a parcel still has to cross a customs border, any import duties or taxes are paid by the recipient.

If your delivery is late, let us know. You can give us a reasonable extra deadline, and if we miss that too, you may cancel the purchase and get your money back.

06Right of withdrawal

When you buy online you normally have 14 days to change your mind. This doesn't apply to Tilti's printed products: each one is made to your specifications and clearly personalised with your own pet (EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 16(c), and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act, lagen (2005:59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler, chapter 2, section 11, point 3).

Digital files: a digital file is sent straight after payment, so at checkout we ask you to agree that delivery may start immediately and to acknowledge that you then lose your right of withdrawal for the file. If you've done both, and we've confirmed it to you by e-mail, the right of withdrawal for the file ends once it has been sent (art. 16(m) of the directive and chapter 2, section 11 of the Swedish Distance Contracts Act). Otherwise you can withdraw within 14 days of your purchase.

How to withdraw: where the right applies, send us a clear message within the 14 days, for example by e-mail to hello@nordkod.io. You may use the EU model withdrawal form, but you don't have to. We refund you within 14 days of receiving your message, using the same payment method.

None of this affects your rights if a product is faulty – see the next section.

07Faults and complaints

If something arrives damaged, misprinted or otherwise faulty, we'll put it right: you get a new print or your money back. Send a photo of the problem and your order number to hello@nordkod.io and we'll take it from there – you normally don't need to send anything back.

You can complain about faults for three years from delivery under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen). Tell us within a reasonable time after you notice the fault – within two months is always in time. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection your own country's consumer law gives you.

08Using your portrait

Your portrait is yours to enjoy: hang it, wear it, share it and use the digital file for any personal purpose. If you'd like to use it commercially, ask us first.

We never use your photos or your portrait in our marketing without asking you first.

09Things outside our control

We're not responsible for delays or problems caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as strikes, natural disasters or disruptions at the carrier. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer law.

10If we disagree

Contact us first – we'd much rather sort it out together. If we can't agree, you can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se. If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country can also help.

Swedish law applies to these terms – but never in a way that takes away protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
